A MESSAGE FROM Meghann's Kili Half Marathon
I am about to take on my 16th consecutive Kilimanjaro Half Marathon. On top of the desire to be consistent 🙃 what drives me even more is the fact that more than 55% of Tanzanian elementary aged children are NOT in school.
Africa’s youth is set to more than double within our lifetimes AND it will represent almost 40% of the world’s youth.
Global peace and security happens in part through soft power. Good will, taking time to understand people, cultures and adding value to others lives is where we see the beauty in humanity.
As a powerhouse country like America, we as Americans have a leadership role to play in this world. I have chosen to put my time, energy and money into creating quality education opportunities for some of the most vulnerable in society here in Tanzania!
Today I’m asking you be a part of this impact. Join me to support this effort with a gift to TFFT. This year, our Team TFFT is raising funds to outfit a new computer lab in our Learning Centre. It will serve as a vibrant hub for technology education; equipping learners with the essential digital skills needed to thrive in today’s world.
For a $15 donation you can get us a keypad
A $150 donation you can provide a computer monitor
A $270 donation a N-Computing setup that allows multiple users to use the same computer at the same time
And with a $1,000 donation you can gift TFFT a “Rachel” server (Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education and Learning) a digital library for offline communities.
Thank you so much for considering to use your own power in this unique way, for being a part of the TFFT Family.
Xxoo Many Thanks- Meghann
