A MESSAGE FROM I'm running the New York City Marathon to support EJ Autism Foundation !
Thank you for a copy and paste to your social media:

EJ Autism Foundation creates autism awareness and supports programs and schools on Long Island that work with children on the spectrum.
Patrick Shields here, future member of the NYC Marathon "25/50/75 Club." I want to be the only person who has run the 25th running (1994), the 50th running (2021, pandemically postponed from 2020), and the future 75th running.
I'm running for All-American college track teammate and EJ Autism founder Beatrice Huste.
If you know Bea, you know her tenacity, her running history, and her friendship. We all have a Bea in our lives, a local hero who relies on our support so they support others.
My goal is modest: run 4:45 (hey, I was a sprinter, this is not my wheelhouse) and raise $2500 for EJ Autism. The more you donate the harder I'll train. I'll do my best to shave five minutes off my best time (4:52:59) time for every $500 raised.
I encourage you to forward the link to this page:

Thanks for your support, NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL !
