Hi Everyone!  

I originally planned to run the 2020 marathon, but the pandemic hit and changed everyone's plans. I still kept training and I am excited to annouce that I will be running on Team Strong, Smart, and Bold on behalf of Girls Inc. of NYC in the 2021 NYC Marathon! I hope that I can inspire young girls to be strong, smart, and bold in accomplishing their wildest dreams!  Please click donate or share to support this wonderful organization and assist me in running this historic race!

About Girls Inc. of NYC

Our mission is to help girls develop the capacity to achieve academically, lead healthy and physically active lives, manage peer pressure, navigate media messages, make sound financial decisions, and discover or expand their interest in the STEM/STEAM fields.

Annually, over 8,500 girls attend our life-transforming programs and experiences, which are delivered by trained professionals in a positive all-girl environment.

We partner with schools and community-based organizations in New York City’s most under-served communities including the South Bronx, East Harlem, Brooklyn, Astoria, and Staten Island. Trained staff and volunteers build mentoring relationships in girls-only spaces where girls find a sisterhood of support with mutual respect and high expectations. Research-based programs provide girls with the skills and knowledge to overcome obstacles and improve academic performance.

All proceeds will support the Sporting Chance Program where girls develop a life-long love of sports.
