A MESSAGE FROM Nicholas
The time for breakthroughs is now. I am raising money to support innovative research and programs at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to revolutionize clinical care and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families from infancy through adulthood. To learn more about CHOP's autism programs, including opportunities to participate in research, visit www.centerforautismresearch.org. Why I Participate: CHOP makes a difference. CHOP cares for more than 10,000 patients with autism each year in almost every clinical area, and teams from our Center for Autism Research and Autism Integrated Care Program – which include rehabilitation therapists, developmental pediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, geneticists, psychiatrists, advance practice nurses, social workers, computer scientists and many others – have led breakthroughs for children and families, from making earlier diagnosis possible to improving therapies and access to services. Together, we’ll create a breakthrough for every child. By providing the necessary resources to thought leaders, we can advance scientific breakthroughs that support an individualized approach to support the unique needs of each patient, at each stage of life. How Can You Help? Donate and help us support groundbreaking and innovative autism research and care programs. 100%, of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and/or programs at CHOP, as together we shift from autism awareness to action. CHOP needs volunteers like you- with or without autism- to participate in research studies that advance our understanding of autism causes and to improve clinical support. Participation in research is a great way to give back, and you receive clinical reports and compensation for your time. To learn about opportunities to participate in research, visit www.centerforautismresearch.org/enroll.
