I am fortunate enough to have been chosen to run the New York Marathon in partnership with the Joslin Diabetes Center this fall. I have pledged to raise $3,000 in support of their research and dedication to finding a cure for diabetes. Your support and generosity allows me to run, and would be greatly appreciated.
This opportunity is very special to me as I will be running the NYC marathon alongside my dad, who lives with Type-1 diabetes. He has never let this diagnosis stop him from accomplishing anything, and thus he is an amazing role model and someone I have always looked up to. I am so fortunate for the ability to raise money for a cause that is seeking to educate others living with diabetes as well as find a cure for a disease that currently impacts roughly 37.3 million Americans.
