Here's my personal Nipsey marathon story: Nipsey Hussle once said "The highest human act is to inspire" and his commitment to those words went beyond just saying them, he lived by them. I had the privilege of witnessing this firsthand years ago on a project I was leading for a pre-iPhone video blog platform, predating the Instagram era. I handed Nipsey a flip phone with a simple request: document his life and share the videos. He could have recorded something simple like listening to a beat in the studio, but instead he used it as an opportunity to inspire. He starts the video by saying "This is the list of what I wake up to every morning" and he shared the "Elements of Success" listed on his bedroom whiteboard. Watch Nip's original video on instagram.
It turns out that Nipsey's Elements of Success are exactly the elements needed to run a marathon!
