A MESSAGE FROM Rachel Foster raising money for Brain Injury Recovery Foundation
In November 2022, I was in a serious accident that left me with a traumatic brain injury. Doctors didn't expect me to recover, but God had other plans. I woke up, and the long journey of recovery began.
Running has always been my place of peace, so getting back to it was a big part of my healing. Five months after the accident, I ran the Boston Marathon. Two years later, I ran it again.
This fall, I'm doing something I've never done before. I'm running the Berlin Marathon, my first marathon outside the United States. And I'm using the opportunity to give back.
I'm fundraising for the Brain Injury Recovery Foundation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They walk alongside brain injury survivors and their families during a season of life that is hard to navigate alone. They offer the kind of support that makes real recovery possible, and I want every survivor in Oklahoma to have access to it.
Please consider giving. No gift is too small. Every dollar helps another survivor take their next step, and that step looks different for everyone.
Thank you for being part of this with me,
Rachel
