Excited to run the New York City Marathon to support Legal Services NYC
Hi friends and family! As you have heard, this year I’m running the New York City Marathon. I’m running to support Legal Services NYC, an organization that means so much to me. I am excited to support Legal Services NYC in the New York City Marathon because my pro bono work is focused on assisting immigrants with various legal issues. Together with the legal team at Legal Services NYC we have been assisting asylum seekers with their applications for asylum, work permits, travel documents and permanent residence and helped them navigate other legal issues. My passion for pro bono immigration work is driven by a deep desire to amplify the stories of asylum seekers. Each immigrant case represents a unique story, offering valuable insights into their countries of origin and the personal experiences that have brought them to seek asylum. I am committed to advocate for their rights and assist in providing a pathway to a better future. My fundraising goal is $3,500 – please help me get there. Any donation you make is truly appreciated.
