Welcome! Make-A-Wish is once again proud to be a charity partner of the TCS New York City Marathon! Team Make-A-Wish is adding more meaning to their miles by being a part of a powerful community that is running to make wishes come true. Life-changing wishes wouldn't happen without the power of donors like you. Make A Wish holds a very special place in my heart as it brought joy to those close to me. It' s an honor to run for this special organization, as well as those I've lost. My Childhood friend, Jasyn, was lucky enough to have her wish granted when we are 16 as she fought her battle with cancer. This year marks the 10 year anniversary of her Wish. Nothing would mean more to me, than to take the starting line again in her honor. And it wouldn't be a marathon without Carolyn Chestler. As most of you know Carolyn was a second mom to me. And though I can only aspire to run as many marathons as she did, I couldn't imagine going through this process again without her amazing memory at the forefront. Carolyn was all about doing good just to do good. Though she left us just two years ago of a similar cancer to Jasyn, she's helped me more than I could ever express. And she would never run just one, so I hope I am making her proud of me for taking another crack at it. It is because of these two fantastic people, as well as the phenomenal organization of Make-A-Wish that I'm taking the starting line and running my SECOND Marathon. With a new year comes even bigger goals. 1 wish takes $10,000, and it is with great pride that I would like to grant a wish all on my own this year. However I can't do that without all of you!!! It's a privilege every day to get to run, and it's my biggest privilege to run in honor of two people who were so passionate about helping others. My goal is ambitious, but I hope you'll help me reach it so that this organization can continue to spread joy and hope to those that need it most. Thank you for your support!
