I WILL RUN MY FIRST NYC MARATHON FOR ALL THOSE THAT FIGHT, and so that others may not have to! MY BIGGEST RACE, WITH MY BIGGEST FUNDRAISING GOAL!
The fight for continued breast cancer research is a PERSONAL one! My sister, mother, three of her sisters all fought and overcame breast cancer, her grandmother did not survive her battle!
Hoping to gain clarity and control, I took a BRCA gene test--mostly for my daughter's sake. When it came back NEGATIVE, it only confirmed my belief that we have so much more work to do, and we need more and more AND EVEN MORE RESEARCH to unlock the mysteries of this disease!
