A MESSAGE FROM Eagles Autism Challenge in honor of Oliver Douglas
As a lot of people who know Sara and myself are aware, our oldest son Oliver is considered educationally autistic. The diagnosis actually frightened me. But after some time I calmed down and realized he's my Ollie, and a diagnosis doesn't change that or my love for him. We've had our shares of good days and bad dealing with autism, but with help from a fantastic program at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit we're seeing real progress. Their early intervention program has been an absolute blessing for our family. Since starting in the fall of 2018 Oliver has become a different kid. It really feels like every few months we have a new change. Almost like a butterfly constantly coming out of it's cocoon bigger brighter and stronger. Our hope is he'll be able to experience a normal childhood, and thanks to this program we feel really positive. It's why I decided to jump on board the Eagles Autism Challenge. And it's why I hope you'll consider donating, because this charity, run by the Philadelphia Eagles will make a difference in the lives of those who live with or love someone with autism.
