This is the third year I'm running the Houston Marathon to support a good cause! If you know me, you know my son Ross Jr. ("Dos") and if you know Dos you love him. Part of Dos' charm is his innocence -- which is a result of his mild intellectual disability. While this disability is a challenge for him in many respects, it's also integral to his sweet nature. As with anyone, he'll be challenged more as he grows (and he has risen to every challenge he's faced), but individuals with ID face unique challenges in securing employment and housing.
