As many of you know, Autism is a cause very close to my heart. My younger sister, Camilla, has severe Autism. The rate of Autism prevalence is rising in staggering rates. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates autism’s prevalence as 1 in 59 children in the United States. There is no clear cause. There is no known cure. But there is hope. Hope that in my sister's lifetime, through breakthroughs in science and technology we will solve the Autism puzzle. On May 18, 2019, I will join the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of participants who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism. 100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. In honor of my sister and the 100,000s of people currently affected by Autism, I ask you to please help me reach my goal. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! <3
