A MESSAGE FROM Sarah James BrainUp Chicago Marathon
I am raising $5,000 for Brain Up, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and support for those affected by brain cancer. In 2013, my mom, Karen Hilton, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. After a courageous battle, she passed away in July 2015. Her strength and resilience continue to inspire me every day. Running and fitness have been a positive outlet throughout my journey, helping me navigate grief while honoring my mom's memory. This fundraiser is a way for me to combine my passion for running with a cause that is deeply personal to my family. I am raising these funds in memory of Karen Hilton and to support Brain Up's mission to bring greater awareness to brain cancer and its impact on individuals and families. Any donation, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!
