A MESSAGE FROM Saul's Running for After School Matters
Hello! I’m running the Chicago Marathon with a bigger purpose.
As an educator and a father, I see firsthand how important structured opportunities are for young people. After School Matters provides Chicago teens with paid apprenticeships in arts, STEM, sports, and leadership. They’re not just keeping kids busy. They’re building confidence, skills, and direction.
I believe discipline changes lives. I believe mentorship matters. And I believe our youth deserve access to opportunities that push them forward.
Training for 26.2 miles takes consistency, sacrifice, and commitment. That’s the same mindset we want our teens to build: resilience, focus, and belief in themselves.
If you’re able, I’d be honored if you supported this cause. No amount is too small, every donation helps open doors for Chicago youth.
