This year will be the 8th annual Joggin' For Frogmen 5K at Liberty
Station on July 27th. This will be my 6th year running it and my 3rd year in a row fundraising for the
event. If you don't know about this event, it is one of the many
fundraising events that the Navy SEAL Foundation puts on in order to raise
money for the various programs they provide to the entire NSW community. Programs like family retreats, resiliency, NSF scholarships,
Helping Hands, etc. are just some of the programs that provide assistance and
support to the NSW community.
I have created a race team, Team Amelie's Angels,
which I am inviting you to join. I am dedicating this year's run
once again to Amelie. She is the daughter of some good friend's and
she was diagnosed with a very rare form of brain cancer when she was just 4
years old. She fought a good fight, but eventually lost the battle
at the age of 6 in 2017. The Navy SEAL Foundation was there for her
and her family every step of the way. The NSF support for the NSW
community is why is choose to support and fundraise for them. You
can do the same by joining me in the JFF 5K. You can also run it as
an individual if you wish. Or create your own team. But
whatever you do, I highly encourage you to at least donate to the
cause. The Navy SEAL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization, so your donation is TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
