A MESSAGE FROM Scott Runs for CHLA
Over the years, running has been my lifeline. I ran my first marathon in 2016 and have been hooked ever since. 

The 2025 Los Angeles Marathon marks my 7th marathon (lucky #7), and I'm proud to run for Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). CHLA is a pediatric safety-net hospital, one of the few in the nation, and our team members provide exceptional care to families in the greatest need, including families with limited financial resources. Around 70% of our families are on Medi-Cal, and unlike most hospitals, CHLA does not turn these folks away. 

This year, I'm going for a few personal bests. I would love to break 3 hours, 30 minutes in my race, and I hope to surpass $2,000 in fundraising. Would you consider making a gift, of any amount, to help me reach my goal? Your funds directly support the children and families who may not be able to afford healthcare otherwise.
