A MESSAGE FROM Sergio
This year I am running the New York City Marathon and I am helping Soccer Without Borders (SWB) as a member of their fundraising team.
SWB is an organization that is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of underprivileged children through the power of soccer. With a strong belief in the transformative potential of athletic programs, I have joined hands with SWB, a non-profit organization committed to providing youth sports opportunities for kids in under-served communities.
Growing up, I experienced firsthand how participation in sports can build character, foster teamwork, and instill a sense of discipline and self-confidence. Unfortunately, many children from low-income families are deprived of these benefits due to financial constraints. I am determined to help change that narrative by supporting Soccer Without Borders' mission.
SWB works tirelessly to break down the financial barriers that prevent children from accessing sports programs. They provide everything from equipment and uniforms, to coaching, ensuring that every child has the chance to play, learn, and grow. By focusing on inclusivity and community engagement, SWB creates a nurturing environment where kids can thrive both on and off the field.
I am committed to raising a minimum of $1,000 to help SWB continue their invaluable work, between now and November 3rd, 2024. All funds will go directly towards funding sports programs, purchasing essential gear, and supporting the dedicated coaches who mentor these young athletes.
No donation amount is too small and all contributions will help a great cause.
Join me in making a difference. Your contribution will help provide underprivileged kids with the opportunity to participate in sports, develop crucial life skills, and build a brighter future. Together, we can empower the next generation of athletes and leaders.
