A MESSAGE FROM Stephanie
Hi there! Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Stephanie Downey and I would like to take a moment to tell you about an event that I will be participating in and why you should consider making a donation to my cause!
On May 19, 2018 I will join the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and others in a 50 mile bike ride to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism.
Why I am riding:
As an avid fitness lover and triathlete, I have participated in countless races. While I weirdly enjoy the physical challenge, I have recently been trying to be involved with more events that are fundraising for amazing causes and therefore putting my miles to good use!
This event struck me on a personal level and is something that I am passionate about. I’m a pediatric occupational therapist working with the exact population this event is fundraising for! But on an even deeper personal level, I’d like to introduce you to a special young lady named Alison. You can see Alison in my photo above. (Isn’t she cute?!)
Alison is my husband’s cousin (but boy did she make me feel like I was a part of the family right away!) She is an incredible young lady who is the life the every party! She brightens up every room with her infections laugh, her big hugs and kisses, and her funny sense of humor. I will be representing Ms. Alison on this ride.
Please considering making a donation. 100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.
I need your support to reach my goal and assist those currently affected as well as future generations. Thank you!
