My passion for supporting youth in foster care has shaped every step of my career- from child protective services to clinical therapist for children impacted by the child welfare system. Through these experiences, I saw first hand the holes in the system, prompting me to pursue my PhD, where my research now focuses on improving placement stability and enhancing mental health outcomes for youth involved in the foster care system. Every mile I run—and every dollar raised—reflects my commitment to creating a safer, more supportive future for these incredible young people. I’m excited to be raising money for CASA of Cook County.
