Bill and Emily make up team Deller Dynasty as a dynamic father/daughter duo riding tandem in a 30-mile bike race.
With two grandsons/nephews on the spectrum, we get to experience and learn about the joys, hardships, and triumphs that go along with having a family member diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Emily has worked with children and adults with ASD for the past 9 years in various roles. From watching her nephew grow and learn, she knew she wanted to work with children with ASD for life.
Bill is an avid bike rider. There is nothing he loves more than riding along the Schuylkill River Trail or Mount Vernon Trail on the hottest days of the year. Ever since Emily started working at The Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support in 2012, Bill has worn his road ID on their support bracelet. Now, as Emily has continued working with individuals young and old with ASD, he supports the Delaware Autism Program bracelet, where Emily works as an Occupational Therapist in the school-system.
For the longest time, our lives have been impacted by Autism for better. We are riding and raising money for further research and support to organizations working with individuals with Autism in the Eagles Autism Challenge.
If able, please consider donating to a cause that means so much to us both. We truly appreciate your support.
