Dear friends,
We are dribbling basketballs to help fundraise for the Miami Cancer Institute. We are doing this in memory of our paternal grandmother Dina Kaye (1943-2002 - pancreatic cancer), our maternal grandfather Maksim Strasch (1948-2002 - lymphoma), and our beloved great grandmother Ruth Straz (1925-2018 - stomach cancer). We never got a chance to meet our grandparents Dina and Maksim, but we know our parents suffer from their loss every day. We miss our great grandmother who we were fortunate to know for 12 years. We want all the other people to share lifetimes with their children, parents, and grandparents! And that's why we are dribbling! We are also doing this as part of our B'nai Mitzvah project. Did we mention that our horoscope sign is Cancer? Not all cancers are bad. We just need to tame the disease one.
Please join us and our family as a team member and dribble with us, or just donate whatever you can. In addition to participating on November 16th, we will be donating a portion of the gift money we will receive.
One in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes. When that happens, you want a team of world renowned experts delivering the most effective treatments and achieving the best outcomes…and you want it close to home. That’s the heart of HEAT.HELP.CURE. Your donations help in their quest to build a world without cancer.
LET'S GO HEAT! LET'S HELP FIND A CURE!
