Team In Training & PwC are teaming up for a Team@Work: PwC Challenge - a movement & fundraising challenge dedicated to supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) fight against cancer.
One of our Houston PwC Partners, Richard Clark, was diagnosed in 2018 with a progressive and unstable cancer of the blood and bone marrow called Myelodysplastic Syndrome or MDS. Richard has been undergoing treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, TX.
During his time in Moscow with the firm, Richard made fitness and health a big part of his life and started training for IRONMAN competitions. He has subsequently completed 4 races, including the world championships in Kona.
To honor Richard and help fight for a cure for MDS, we launched Run for Richard in 2019 in partnership with LLS raising $132,000 and again in 2020 raising $77,000. Now we are back with Race for Richard, including cycling into the mix but for the same great cause. The funds we raise will continue The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's breakthrough development of therapies that have already saved and continues to save thousands of lives. As a team, we are that much stronger, but still need the might of your support.
