Hi! Kenna and Elaine here. We are fundraising for our Disney Half Marathon with the Magee-Women’s Foundation.

As women and moms, this cause is deeply personal to both of us. Between us, we’ve experienced multiple pregnancies, births, postpartum recoveries, and all the ways women’s bodies are expected to simply “push through.” We also both know the heartbreak of losing important women in our lives to cancer. Their stories are a reminder of how urgently women need better research, better care, and better answers through every stage of life.

We’re running 13.1 miles in honor of the women we’ve lost, and in support of the women who deserve to be heard, believed, and cared for.
