Diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) in 2012, Bernard Llave battled blood cancer for 8 courageous years prior to passing away on May 16, 2020. During that time he helped inspire countless people to keep fighting whatever battles they were facing and to do so with grace, humility and strength. Using strength as a guiding principle, Bernard along with his wife Dee, created team b.strong to raise money and awareness in pursuit of the ultimate goal - a cure for blood cancer. While we are deeply saddened to have lost Bernard we know the best way to honor his life is to keep the b.strong torch burning bright.
