Hi, I’m April Godales and I’m a Senior Living Advisor with Assisted Living Locators. I’ve dedicated my career to helping families find the right care options for their loved ones, and now I’m excited to be supporting the Parkinson’s Los Angeles cause. As part of our commitment, we're creating a walk team to raise awareness and funds for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson’s is the second most common neurodegenerative disease, right behind Alzheimer’s, yet it often doesn’t get the same level of attention. That’s why raising awareness is so important. Through this walk and fundraising efforts, we can shine a spotlight on Parkinson’s, help those who are affected, and support important programs that improve quality of life for those living with the disease.
Whether you’re able to join the walk or make a donation, your support will help further education, and essential care programs for individuals with Parkinson’s. Every little bit counts—let’s come together to make a positive impact!
This Walk is a family-friendly 5k and open to all participants of all ages and abilities, including runners, walkers and strollers!
