The Liver Life Challenge is the American Liver Foundation’s official endurance program, where dedicated athletes across the country use their passion and commitment to go the extra mile for the liver community.


Fundraising and participation in our Liver Life Challenge events bring awareness to liver disease and provide financial support for our educational programs and patient services offered to the millions of Americans battling one of the 100 known liver diseases.


Fundraising is the most important part of your participation in the Liver Life Challenge and we are here to assist you. The fundraising minimums are: $1,000 for the full and half marathon and $500 for the 5K run.

    2025 Houston Marathon Race Weekend

    The Houston Marathon is an annual marathon held every January in Houston, Texas. With thousands of runners and spectators, it is the largest single day sporting event in the city. It is run concurrently with a half marathon.
