Apna Ghar  2022 Chicago Marathon Team is gearing up for race day on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Your support will ensure that we can fulfill our mission of providing critical, comprehensive, culturally-competent services, and conduct outreach and advocacy across communities to end gender violence. 

Apna Ghar is a human rights organization working to address the issue by empowering survivors, engaging communities and elevating the issue of gender violence to engender change. Since 1990 we have reached more than 100,000 survivors and community members across the region. 

As leaders at the forefront, we are issue based and community focused with an expertise to serve immigrant, refugee and vulnerable populations in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs from multiple locations in the north, northwest and southside. Our services are survivor-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based and empowerment focused.
