Welcome to the annual fundraiser of team “Are We There Yetz?”
This year has been challenging for me with my Lupus. In May I had shingles again, followed by a
serious Lupus flare up in August. In
early September I was diagnosed with an antibiotic resistant infection and
spent weeks with a PICC line that ultimately caused Sepsis. When the treatment was complete I was diagnosed
with yet another antibiotic resistant infection had another PICC line placed
and spontaneously developed a life threatening DVT blood clot. Through all of this I have continued with my
most important project – raising AWARENESS and much needed FUNDS for Lupus
research.
Thank you to all who have supported our annual Fundraiser
and team Are We There Yetz? To date, as
a team, we have raised over $50,000 thanks to our generous donors and
friends. This year our goal is to raise
$15,000 which would make this our best year ever!
