We’re the Asian American Journalists Association, and we’re excited to participate in the TCS New York City Marathon for the first time in 2022! In our inaugural year, we have seven runners that represent five different chapters in AAJA. In November, our runners from Hawaii, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Washington D.C. and New York will converge to run all five boroughs and 26.2 miles across New York City!
Our goal is to raise $35,000 to support AAJA’s mission in advocating on behalf of Asian American and Pacific Islanders in the newsroom as well as in the fair representation of AAPI voices in the stories that reflect our community. To support AAJA is to not only to support our mission, but also the next generation of AAPI journalists as well as the continued support of our journalists today.
