A MESSAGE FROM Avondale House

Avondale House is a United Way agency that provides schooling, residential services and pre-vocational training to the 1 in 58 children and adults diagnosed with autism. Our mission is to provide individuals with autism the resources, education and training to develop to their fullest potential.

Our services include:

A year-round day school serving 24 Houston area school districts for children.
A day program for adults who have aged out of school services, but still need structure and training to thrive.
A residential program in three community homes for individuals who are unable to live with their own families.

2019 Houston Marathon Race Weekend

The Houston Marathon is an annual marathon held every January in Houston, Texas. With thousands of runners and spectators, it is the largest single day sporting event in the city. It is run concurrently with a half marathon and a 5 km race.
