Run for Recovery with Beit T'Shuvah
Every mile our team runs in the LA Marathon is for the people rebuilding their lives at Beit T'Shuvah.
Beit T'Shuvah is a nonprofit, long-term residential recovery community in Los Angeles. We believe lasting sobriety takes time. Instead of a typical 30-day program, we give our residents the time and support they need to truly heal and build a new life.
We also believe recovery should never depend on what someone can afford. We never turn anyone away because they can't pay, and 95% of our residents receive some level of scholarship.
Long-term care isn't cheap. It costs about $20,000 a month for the first four months and $10,000 a month after that. Most residents stay for at least seven months, so the average cost of caring for one person is around $110,000. Because we keep our doors open to everyone, we rely on the generosity of people who want to make a difference. Every dollar our marathon team raises helps give someone in recovery the time they need to build a lasting, meaningful life.
Whether you run with us, cheer for us, or donate, thank you for being part of that journey.
