A MESSAGE FROM Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles (the Club) is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive and responsible members of the community. The Club serves some of the most poorest and most underserved communities in Los Angeles, providing a safe place for youth ages 5-17 to go for after-school and summer activities. The Club is committed to ensuring that underserved youth have access to high quality programs that provide:

Educational support and enrichment
Technology access and instruction
Sports league participation
Art and dance
Food, nutrition and quality meals
Swim lessons and water safety

The Club provides tutoring, arts and crafts, coding and STEAM, sports (including swimming, baseball and soccer), and other leadership activities, and provides after school and summertime meals for kids. The Club also provides a community foodbank. In addition, the Club organizes holiday toy drives and meals, and provides summer and holiday camps - giving a safe place for youth to go when their parents are working. The Club is also working to support Los Angeles families and communities impacted by the Palisades and Eaton fires.

In order to keep costs as low as possible for the low income families the Club serves, the Club relies on fundraising like this to provide these critical services and stay afloat.
