#TeamBxRA will have 5 volunteers running the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon to raise funds and awareness to help save the Bronx River! We can't think of a better time to take advantage of this opportunity. This year is especially significant as it marks the 50th Anniversary of the Bronx River Restoration. The BRR originated from a community-led initiative in 1974, they aimed to purify our River and expand our greenway for all New Yorkers to enjoy! 

The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river. We work in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it may be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational, and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
