CASA of River Valley has been a beacon of hope in Will and Grundy Counties since 1994 and is the only organization in the community that trains community volunteers to represent children who enter the foster care system due to child abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers represent the children as their Guardian ad Litem, reporting to the Juvenile Court Judge to represent the child’s best interest in a complicated foster care system.
Our mission to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children is unwavering, but we cannot do it alone. While we have a track record of success stories each year, it costs $1,000 to provide a child with a volunteer advocate for one year.
