For over 40 years, the Center for Disability & Elder Law (CDEL) has been providing free legal services to low-income older adults and people with disabilities throughout Cook County and Chicago, Illinois. 

CDEL has had a dual mission since its founding in 1984 to: 
1. Provide free legal services to low income older adults and people with disabilities in Chicago and Cook County, Illinois.

2. Foster the spirit of pro bono service throughout the Chicago and Cook County legal communities.
