CTF Illinois (Communities Transform Futures) is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. Through person-centered services—ranging from residential and community-based supports to employment services, caregiver support, and advocacy—CTF Illinois creates pathways toward independence, social inclusion, and economic opportunity for the people it serves across the state.
Since 1971, CTF Illinois has worked to ensure individuals are not defined by their differences but are recognized for the value they bring to their communities. Serving hundreds of participants annually, the organization fosters dignity, respect, community connection, and personal growth.
By participating in the 2026 marathon, CTF Illinois champions greater visibility and community support for people with developmental disabilities—while raising crucial funds to expand services that go beyond what government funding alone can provide.
