Jay and I are participating in a half marathon in January in support of the Organization for Autism Research. Autism research is something we care deeply about. We are hoping to contribute, even if in a small way, to the betterment of the lives of our neurodiverse friends. Our lives have been greatly impacted by those who came before us. The more we learn about autism the better we can be at providing the needed services and accommodations, and ultimately increase the likelihood of fulfilling lives for our neurodiverse friends. We all just want to live our best lives, right?
