Friends and Family:
As you all know, our sweet friend, Deann Otis, has been diagnosed with Follicular Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which is one of the many, many blood cancers that affect thousands each year.
Approximately every 3 minutes, one person in the United States is diagnosed with some form of a blood cancer (lymphoma, leukemia, myeloma).
On January 20, 2019, I, and those who wish join my team ... Deann's Tribe, will be running the Houston Half Marathon with The Leukemia and Lymphoma society to raise money for the fight against blood cancers and to save the lives of current and future blood cancer patients.
We will be running to honor Deann Otis, who is just beginning her fight against the "gremlins"! All who know and love Deann know that with her amazing spirit, positive outlook on life, her love of our Lord, and the support of David, Nolan and her Tribe, she WILL beat this nasty disease called cancer!!
Cancer is a disease that strikes without warning and without prejudice. There are cures waiting to be funded and we MUST do our part to fund the research required so that cancer is eradicated.
Please support my fundraising efforts for the 2019 Houston Marathon Race Weekend and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. No donation is too small. The minimum needed is $500 per team member, but let's show the world what #HumbleStrong means!! Please click on the donate button!
Thank you in advance!!
