Join Dress for Success Tampa Bay (DFSTB) on Saturday, August 27, INSIDE the Citrus Park Town Center for our Annual Indoor 5K Power Walk honoring Women's Equality Day!
WHAT THE POWER WALK STANDS FOR
As the leading global nonprofit employment resource for women, Dress for Success is at the center of the work to preserve the legacy and promise of economic progress and equality for women. Every dollar raised for DFSTB’s Power Walk will benefit our organization’s services and programs, and our Professional Women’s Group (PWG) in particular.
PWG is an international networking association for Dress for Success Clients who have recently entered the workforce–some for the first time–to provide support, practical information and inspiration to help women achieve self-defined success in career and in life. PWG is the first and only employment retention model that moves low-income women towards self-sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community. In this safe forum, Clients receive focused guidance and support as they develop and grow in their professional and personal lives. DFSTB has committed to raising funds to support our PWG, and you can make an incredible difference by helping us reach our goal!
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
DFSTB’s Power Walk 2022 is a global event in partnership with all Dress for Success affiliates. Power Walk participants will have the opportunity to join the event in-person or virtually, and will also have access to a weekend-long program of online events!
