Whether it’s from the safety of your home or outdoors in your neighborhood, you can participate by running, walking, biking, rollerblading, or jumping on a pogo stick, (you name it!) with us! The distance is up to you – it can be around the block, one mile, a 5K, a half marathon, or more. Throughout the day, participate in events such as a virtual walk, stretch, and meditation with inspiring women.

Why is this event so important?  Women have been  disproportionately affected by the global pandemic, losing at least $800 billion in income in 2020 (more than the combined GDP of 98 countries).  By providing women access to jobs, career advancement and financial wellness, we not only help them, we also help their entire family and community while contributing to the global economy and social change. Our global affiliate network meets their clients' evolving needs, equipping them with resources, skills and the network they require to help them not only survive, but thrive. 

As the only global nonprofit employment resource for women, Dress for Success is at the center of the work to preserve the legacy and promise of economic progress and equality for women.  Every dollar raised will support our mission to help women achieve economic independence, so we are grateful for your participation and support in this year's Virtual Power Walk.
