Franciscan Outreach is a leading Chicago homeless services provider, serving individuals who are experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness. For more than 60 years, we have met people where they are, providing care and support to our city's most vulnerable neighbors.
Our service sites are located on Chicago's west side and near south side, where the greatest number of unsheltered Chicagoans live. Many of the people who come through our doors were previously living outside or in other unsafe conditions, exposed to serious health and safety risks, and facing complex challenges alone. They are among our city's most overlooked neighbors, and often the least likely to receive the care and support they need.
At Franciscan Outreach, we start with the essentials. A safe place to sleep. A warm meal. A moment to breathe. From there, our Case Management Program provides the guidance, support, and resources each guest needs to work toward greater stability. Navigating homeless services can be overwhelming, so we make sure no one has to do it alone. Every guest is met with compassion, dignity, and respect.
When you support a member of our marathon team, your gift fuels more than 26.2 miles. It provides shelter, meals, and support for a neighbor working toward stability.
