The Freedom Initiative is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization that is dedicated to advocating for prisoners wrongfully detained in the Middle East and North Africa.   

We believe in a region in which all may be free to enjoy their rights, and we believe that citizens and leaders in the United States and around the world have a role to play in achieving this mission.
