We are Girl Scouts of Connecticut.

We’re over 20,000 members strong – nearly 12,000 girls and over 8,000 adults – who believe that every girl can change the world.

When girls participate in Girl Scouting, they come up with their own ideas, build teams, and experience the joy of making a positive impact. Girl Scouts shine above their peers in leadership, academics, career aspirations and hope for the future.

Our Eversource Hartford Marathon team supports our Gold Award Girl Scouts. The Girl Scout Gold Award is the mark of the truly remarkable. To earn this unique award, high school students don’t just change the world for the better, they change it for good by tackling issues dear to their hearts while driving lasting change in their communities and beyond.

Gold Award Girl Scouts report that the Gold Award process helps them develop essential 21st century employment skills and gives them a boost in their academic and professional lives. They also affirm that the Gold Award helped them get into college or graduate programs, earn scholarships, and secure jobs. 

Through this team we help our Gold Award Girl Scouts turn these dreams into reality. All funds raised through this team will be granted as scholarship awards to girls seeking advanced education to pursue their goals.
