A night on us…we pick up the tab. The client avoids jail.
We put an end to spending the night in jail for public intoxication.
Instead, police bring people to our center where they
safely sober up. They avoid an arrest charge and all the negative consequences this adds to a person's life. Most clients use alcohol and many drink too fast or too much for their body weight and age. We talk about how to manage that or connect them to services if they're ready and request them.
Their stay with us is voluntary at no cost.
Years on us....we pick up the tab. And offer a long-term recovery program.
You know them. You see them on the street. People with chronic substance
use and mental health issues. We designed a long-term
addiction recovery program giving access to appropriate care, social services, housing and social support. They want to change. We stick with them for as long as they want us. Some have stayed in contact for seven years.
Their
participation is voluntary at no cost.
