Ladder Up is a non-profit organization that offers free financial services to help low-income individuals in the Chicagoland area achieve financial empowerment and improve their economic situation. As a provider of free tax services, tax legal assistance, and financial education, Ladder Up serves as a trusted and reliable partner to individuals and families on their journey to financial stability.

Over its 30-year history, Ladder Up has served over 800,000 individuals, prepared nearly 640,000 tax returns, secured over $1 billion in economic benefits.

Central to Ladder Up’s success is a dedicated volunteer community of 900 who make our programs possible and help us make an impact on the lives of so many across the Chicagoland area.
