Mental Health America of Greater Houston, established in 1954 by philanthropist Ima Hogg, is the area’s longest serving mental health education and advocacy organization focused on shaping the mental health of people and communities in the areas of children and education, integrated health care, veterans, and community education.
Fundraising Incentives:
· MHA covers race registration fee for Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon, and We Are Houston 5k
· Fundraisers who raise at least $1,000 will be invited as our special guests to our Annual Treasures of Texas Luncheon, Fall 2025

What Your Gift Does:
· $50 can get mental health resource guides to 100 of our neighbors
· $100 can make a life-saving suicide prevention or mental health training available to our community
· $250 can make 4 months of peer-to-peer mentorship possible for a justice-involved veteran
· $500 can increase access to mental health workforce development and workplace wellness
· $1,000 can help prepare a school district to recognize and respond to students at risk of suicide
