The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) is the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating life-threatening venous blood clots through education, advocacy, patient support, and research.
Each year, up to 900,000 Americans are affected by blood clots, resulting in at least 100,000 deaths. Most of these deaths are preventable through greater awareness, early recognition, and timely treatment.
Through trusted educational resources, community outreach, patient support programs, advocacy, and research, NBCA is working to ensure more people recognize the warning signs of a blood clot before it's too late.
Together, we're creating a future where no life is lost to a preventable blood clot.
