A MESSAGE FROM National Foundation for Cancer Research
The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides scientists in the lab the funding they need to make game-changing discoveries in cancer treatments, detection, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
NFCR has distinguished itself in the cancer research sector by emphasizing long-term, transformative research often overlooked by other major funding sources. With the help of more than 5.3 million individual donors over the last 49 years, NFCR has delivered more than $390 million in funding to public education and cancer research leading to several important, life-saving discoveries.
We have several opportunities to get involved, including race slots available for:
MCM 10k: 20 spots
MCM 26.2: 50 spots
MCM 50k: 5 spots
We are covering registration fees for all of our runners
and just ask participants to fundraise minimal levels as part of our team
requirements - $250 for the 10K race and $500 for the primary or 50K race.
When you join NFCR’s Charity Marine Corps Marathon Team, you will experience one of the most exciting and inspiring races in the Nation, and you’ll be helping advance critical cancer research projects making a difference in people’s lives.
