The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides scientists in the lab the funding they need to make game-changing discoveries in cancer treatments, detection, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
NFCR has distinguished itself in the cancer research sector by emphasizing long-term, transformative research often overlooked by other major funding sources. With the help of more than 5.3 million individual donors over the last 50 years, NFCR has delivered $410 million in funding to public education and cancer research leading to several important, life-saving discoveries.
We are covering registration fees for all of our runners and just ask participants to fundraise minimal levels as part of our team requirements - $250 for the 10K race and $500 for the primary or 50K race.

NFCR has several opportunities to get involved, including race slots available for:
- MCM 10k: 20 spots
- MCM 26.2: 50 spots
- MCM 50k: 5 spots
