ABOUT OAR
The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) is a national charity located in Arlington, Virginia. Parent founded and led, OAR set out to use applied science to answer questions that parents, families, individuals with autism, teachers, and caregivers confront daily. No other autism organization has this single focus.
RUN FOR AUTISM
The RUN FOR AUTISM program serves as OAR’s signature fundraising program. Since 2003 over 8,500 people have participated in events ranging from 5K’s to ultramarathons, as well as triathlons, mud runs, and virtual races. Together the RUN FOR AUTISM team have raised more than $8 million for autism research.
